The history of department/center

The center of career in cooperation with the UNIWORK project (544126-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-ES-TEMPUS-JPHES http://www.uniwork-project.eu/) of the European Union program Tempus. (http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/tempus/). From 01.09.2015, by the order of the director the center of career has been operating as a Institute’s structure, which was established in order to facilitate the employment of students and graduates of the Institute, informational and advisory support in career development and development of cooperation and partnership with companies (employers). Since 2024, the department has been functioning as a professional development center.

The main activity of department/center

The purpose of career center department’s activity is to help increase the competitiveness of students and graduates of the institute in the labor market.

The main areas of activity in the center of career department are :

•  to assist in the organization of educational, production and pre-diploma student internships;

•  organizing events with the participation of employers - meetings, job fairs, seminars, company presentations, etc.;

•  informational and analytical work on the labor market, including monitoring work;

•  to facilitate the employment of students and graduates;

•  increasing the competitiveness and mobility of students and graduates in the labor market;

•  distribution of graduates with jobs.

·        monitoring of employment and follow-up of graduates;

·        to facilitate the employment of students and graduates;

·        conducting meetings with active and successful graduates to increase the motivation of students for careers and activities and a round table;

·        creation of a database of graduates and communication with them;

·        consultation on issues of personal development, self-determination and CV preparation;

·        making proposals to the management of the institute on improvement of educational programs, taking into account the analysis of careers of graduates and the opinions of employers;

·        sending graduates of the institute to work in the companies of the applied employers;

Specialist – Boboev Khurshedjon Islomovich

·     organization and supervision of all types of internships;

·     facilitating the distribution of students to training facilities;

·     contract of cooperation agreements with employers;

·     organization of meetings with employers, presentations of companies and round tables;

·     sending students for internships to the companies of the applied employers;

·     searching for temporary and permanent jobs and providing information to students and graduates through the institute's management information system (SIID), social networks and other websites (messengers);

·     making proposals to the management of the institute on improvement of educational programs, taking into account the analysis of careers of graduates and the opinions of employers;
